In line with many of Christopher Weed’s most iconic and playful creations, Ball and Jacks is an art commission for Parker, Colorado’s Discovery Park Gateway Project. Inspired by a classic childhood amusement, the game pieces are translated to a monumental scale but remain grounded to the landscape and accessible to both adults and children. Weighing in at 3 tons a piece and formed from durable stainless steel, each individual Jack is 14’ high x 20’ in diameter and 20′ wide. Whimsical and light-hearted, Ball and Jacks resonates with both young and old alike, standing the test of time.
